Training for typists who are already fast.
Typing tutors stop at 100 WPM. This site starts there: burst typing, read-ahead, punctuation, and same-finger transition drills, built around the exact layout you type on.
Your layout: QWERTY
The default. Heavy same-finger traffic on ed/de, un/nu, my/ym, br/rb: the layout where alt fingering matters most.

Drills
Burst & Gap
Explosive bursts, forced rests.
Type a burst of words at full speed, then the input locks for a set gap while you read the next burst. Trains peak speed without the drag of continuous typing, and shows how far your burst speed is above your sustained speed.
Read-Ahead
Your eyes should be two words ahead.
Only a few upcoming words are visible. Optionally the word you are typing is masked as soon as you start it, forcing you to read ahead and type from memory instead of chasing your fingers.
Punctuation
Symbols and shift keys, per layout.
Words wrapped in the punctuation you choose. Every symbol is shown with the finger and shift hand your layout assigns it, because those differ a lot between QWERTY, Dvorak and Colemak.
Same-Finger Bigrams
The transitions that cap your speed.
Words packed with the bigrams where one finger has to hit two different keys in a row. These are different for every layout, and are the usual wall between 150 and 200+ WPM.
Weak Spots
Drills your slowest transitions.
Built from your own data: the bigrams you type slowest or miss most on this layout. Falls back to the layout's heaviest same-finger bigrams until you have enough history.
Baseline Sprint
Plain words, honest numbers.
Ordinary common words, no tricks. Use it to measure where you actually are, and to check that drill gains carry over.
